Fee Help
If you go to see your local doctor, who can help put you on a Health Care Plan.
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate.
This is 50% of the normal fee for face to face counselling with a generalist psychologist and if you see a specialist or clinical psychologist the gap is $95.85.

The Australian Psychological Society recommended hourly fee for psychologists in 2010 is $218 per consultation hour. Our fees are $164 per consultation hour for appointments with our generalist psychologists or $218 to see our Clinical Psychologists. Couples counselling is $240 per session.
A proportion of these fees may be redeemable from your private health insurance, depending on your health plan. You may also be eligible to claim a proportion of your fees from Medicare, if you have a referral and a “Health Care Plan ” from your doctor, and your doctor has assessed you to be suffering from a condition that is eligible for a Medicare rebate.
Appointments are typically 50-60 minutes long. The initial appointment is longer, usually an hour and a half, to allow plenty of time to gain a detailed understanding of you and your needs. A thorough initial consultation is important, to ensure that subsequent sessions are relevant and helpful to you. This initial session is the same charge as a standard 50-60 minute consultation.
When you attend your first appointment, we will discuss your goals and expectations. In subsequent sessions we will generate a flexible plan that you are comfortable with. To help you get the most out of your appointments, we will periodically review the progress of your therapy, with reference to your goals.

Please note that a cancellation policy applies to all appointments. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will attract a cancellation fee.
We also will reserve the right to adjust the fees if you are in financial need.
